Emma Jones is a Clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist and Master NLP Practitioner, who bundles these wonderful qualifications into describing herself as a Mindset Coach. She is currently studying to obtain a Level 5, ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) in Coaching and Mentoring, all to strengthen the work she does with clients and utilise this to expand into more group work.
Two years ago Emma was diagnosed with High Functioning Autism (ASD) and ADHD. As much as the ASD was no shock to her, the ADHD was. Yet, the symptoms fitted in so many ways and it explained so much about her behaviours since childhood.
We are beginning to see more adult ADHD diagnosis, especially in women. Emma is passionate about helping others understand ADHD symptoms, and how to manage them, with or without medication. In addition, she is working with Clifton Practice for Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT) to help other hypnotherapists gain a clearer understanding of ADHD and how they can help their clients.
Speaking about how she learned to manage her symptoms, embrace the benefits, or superpowers as she considers them, that come with ADHD, while also understanding the grief that can come with a late diagnosis and the stigma that ADHD still has.
